Two Shropshire companies combined their talents to scoop a 16th gold medal at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

Bosses at Precision Colour Printing in Telford have been helping Shropshire’s David Austin Roses for 10 years by printing the flower company’s high quality catalogues which appear at the show.

PCP, based in Halesfield, which has won several top industry awards, prints magazines and catalogues for Liverpool Football Club, Harley Davidson, Thomas Cook travel agents and other blue chip companies.

Bosses at David Austin Roses, based in Albrighton, were delighted that the catalogues helped with their bid to take its 16th gold medal at the famous flower show this week.

Christian Bright, Business Development Executive at PCP, said: “We have had an excellent partnership with David Austin Roses for ten years and were cheering for them at the flower show.

“The catalogue we produce for them is their main marketing vehicle and we print 450,000 copies in five different languages. On the cover of this year’s catalogue there is a picture of the William and Catherine rose to celebrate the Royal wedding.”

Ron Daker, graphic designer for David Austin Roses, said: “We are delighted with the company partnership. The prints are of a very high quality.”

PCP are also no stranger to picking up awards after it scooped a prestigious award last year from Print Week, the industries weekly magazine.
